List of products

This land of contrast offers you an assortment of the most varied produce you can imagine, from olive trees to génépi spirits. The food and drink produced in this "département" has a special "mountain" flavour to it, although the fragrances of Provence are always present.
Ancestral traditions have preserved a living heritage: olive oil, Banon cheese, etc. Producers have had to adapt to the demands of the modern economy, but have preserved ancestral expertise and know-how. We invite you to take a look at this mosaic of products which has created the reputation of the Alpes de Haute-Provence.

Every year, the Group of Alpes de Haute-Provence Producers, the Chambers of Craft Trades and the Chambers of Agriculture for the Hautes-Alpes and the Alpes de Haute-Provence organise nearly 80 markets, called "Les Marchés aux Saveurs" (Taste Markets).
Access is restricted to food industry professionals. These markets last one day and take place in our "département" all the year. The regulations guarantee the following criteria:
- participation of producers only
- dealing is prohibited
- high quality produce
- wide variety of products: prepared meals, honey, wine, olive oil, pâtés, jams, foie gras, etc.
