CHABANON-SELONNET

The resort of Chabanon-Selonnet overlooks Blanche Valley. It offers all the pleasures of mountains in the sunshine, with 35 km of downhill skiing and 25 km of Nordic ski touring pistes. A regularly maintained cross-country piste provides a link with the Col du Fanget. The resort has 26 marked pistes (5 black, 9 red, 6 blue, 6 green) and 12 ski lifts (1 chair lift, 10 ski tows, 1 babyski).

Chabanon is particularly appreciated because of its exposure, giving it a reputation for excellent snow cover.
Artificial snow over several hectares between 1600 and 1800 m.
Ecole de Ski Français skiing school. Night-time skiing is possible on a floodlit piste.

To get to Chabanon-Selonnet

By road
• From Paris : via Lyon, Grenoble, Gap over Bayard pass or Lus-la-Croix-Haute pass. After Gap, follow signs to Barcelonnette then take the D900 road, following signs to Digne-les-Bains and Selonnet
• From Marseille : by motorway, either :
take the Sisteron exit, then via Tallard, following signs to Barcelonnette then take the D900 road, following signs to Digne-les-Bains and Selonnet ;
or take the Peyruis exit, and follow the signs to Digne-les-Bains, then Barcelonnette.
• From Avignon : via Apt, Forcalquier then follow signs to Digne-les-Bains or Sisteron.
