The little village of Larche is located on the Franco-Italian
border, and has a very strong Nordic tradition.
The mountain customs officers were the first real
cross-country skiers. Ever since 1930, the French and
Italian regional clubs have been using the pistes at
Larche, travelling as far as the Mercantour Park and
the sumptuous Lauzanier valley. This family resort has
a very "high mountain" atmosphere.
