Coming from the South
To get to the Alpes de Haute-Provence department take
the A51 motorway and then :
• to get to the Ubaye valley, take the La Saulce
exit and follow the signs to Barcelonnette,
• to get to the Blanche valley, take the Peyruis
exit and follow the signs to Digne-les-Bains and Seyne-les-Alpes,
• to get to the Forcalquier area, take the Brillane
exit and follow the signs to Forcalquier,
• to get to the Val d'Allos - Haut-Verdon, take
the Peyruis exit and follow the signs to Digne-les-Bains
and Nice or if coming from the Rivera, take the RN85
(the Napoleon Road) or RN202
• to get to the Verdon area, take the Manosque
exit and follow the signs to Valensole, Moustiers-Sainte-Marie
and Castellane, or if coming from the Riviera take
the RN85
• to get the Durance and Bléone valleys,
take the Manosque, Peyruis or Sisteron exit depending
on your destination.
Coming from the North
To get to the Alpes de Haute-Provence department through
Lyon or Grenoble, go to the Col de Lus-la-Croix-Haute
and then :
• to get to the Ubaye valley, go to Gap and
follow the signs to Barcelonnette,
• to get to the Blanche valley, go to Gap, follow
the signs to Barcelonnette and take the D900 towards
Digne-les-Bains and Seyne-les-Alpes,
• to get to Forcalquier area, go to Sisteron,
take the A51 motorway to the Aubignosc or La Brillanne
exit depending on your destination,
• to get to the Val d'Allos - Haut-Verdon, go
to Sisteron, take the A51 motorway to the Aubignosc
exit and follow the signs to Digne-les-Bains, then
Nice and then Allos,
• to get to the Verdon area, go to Sisteron,
take the A51 motorway and then :
- take the Aubignosc exit and follow the signs to
Valensole and Moustiers-Saint-Marie to get to the
lakes and the Gorges du Verdon,
• to get the Durance and Bléone valleys,
go to Sisteron, take the A51 motorway and follow the
signs to Digne-les-Bains or Manosque depending on
your destination.

train |

From Paris
• Take the "Briançonnais" night
train to Veynes, then change trains or take the connecting
SNCF coach.
• By TGV, Paris-Valence service, then change
to a Grenoble or Gap train, or take a connecting coach
to the Blanche Valley, Bès Valley, Ubaye Valley,
Allos Valley, Durance Valley or Bléone Valley.
• By TGV, Paris-Avignon service, and then a
connecting coach to the Forcalquier area, Digne-les-Bains
and Allos Valley.
• By TGV, Paris-Aix-en-Provence TGV Gare service,
and then a connecting coach to the Forcalquier area,
Digne-les-Bains and Allos Valley.
From Marseille
• By TER, several daily services to Sisteron,
with connecting coaches to all the valleys.
From Nice
• The "Train des Pignes", a tourist
train that used to be fuelled by pine cones, provides
a daily service between Nice and Digne-les-Bains,
via the Annot-Entrevaux area, the Haut-Verdon Valley
and the Asse Valley.

2 INTERNATIONAL AIRPORTS
Marseille-Provence Airport at Marignane,
then take the Val de Durance motorway (A51) heading
for Sisteron.
Nice-Côte d'Azur Airport,
then take the RN 202 national highway to reach Digne-les-Bains.
